Jonathan Seay

Born in LaGrange, GA, but raised in Memphis, TN, Jonathan started playing percussion and got his first drumset around the age of 13. After attending Overton High School, whose alumni includes the likes of Josie Scott of Saliva and the blues guitarist Eric Gales, he graduated and joined the Air Force.  It was during his time in the service where he stretched his wings and started playing with a variety of cover bands that played songs ranging from the bluesy Robin Trower and Jimi Hendrix to hard rock icons like Korn and Nine Inch Nails. His influences are pretty widespread and include artists across the jazz, fusion funk, reggae, grunge, alternative, hard rock, progressive, and metal genres. After a five year hiatus following his retirement from the Air Force, he is now back on the drum throne and ready to be the rhythm master for Childz Play.
